Cordyline indivisa

Mountain Cabbage tree

Cordyline indivisa
  • Hardy to -10 °C
Mountain Cabbage tree from New Zealand. Treat as Dicksonia but give it more sun. Can't stand heat however. If this plant is happy in your garden, it is one of the most spectaculair plants you can get. Tolerates about 15 degrees of frost for a short period. This is not the plant that you find in the trade under the same name! Seedlings available. Did not survive the winter in March 2005. Survivival as tubplant is better than in the garden, where fungus may attack this beauty. This awesome cabbage tree prefers volcanic soil, in the wild it grows on the slopes of vulcano's. Max 2m
