Yushania anceps

Evergreen
Yushania anceps
  • Tub plant
  • Solitary
  • Hardy to -15 °C
This very vigorous clumping bamboo spreads rapidly like a running bamboo. It has performed well in containers, full shade and full sun. Its vertical culms arch near the tops, and masses of leaves forming at each node create a layered plume- like effect. In the 90ties we had occasionally frost-damage, but nowadays it seems fully hardy.
