Beautiful bamboo, distinctive because of its grassy, long leaf. Goes brown in harsh winters, but always recovers. We keep it in our collection despite its moderate hardiness because of its beauty.

The only bamboo with intense light yellow-green striped leaves. Very good for lightening up a dark spot. Cut back to the ground in spring.
