| Wonderful fern-like leaf that hangs 'sleepily' at night. Beautiful yellow flowers. Acacia suffers in wet winters. Essential for the meditteranean garden. "Subalpina" is supposed to be hardier. This fast growing tree flowered here very well during the winters of 2006, 2007 and 2008 in early spring, but froze in the winter of 2008/2009. A dry, hot place in full sun, preferably against a south-facing wall, will encourage optimal flowering. Replanted in 2019. Frozen in febr. 2021 (at -13°C) replanted in 2023 This plant can be found in the botanical garden in the following locations: Sequoia-border
